March Order Update

Hi everyone!

I've had a few emails so I wanted to make a quick post, updating you all about the most recent order.  In the midst of closing the pre-orders and getting the pins, stickers, and magnets ordered -- we had a sudden nice day of weather here in Omaha, causing the 2 feet of snow in our backyard to melt very quickly on top of the frozen ground.  The water had nowhere to go -- so it entered our basement.  We also had an entire day of very heavy, steady rain, which only compounded the issue!

All of this added up to horrible flooding in our basement.  At one time, it looked like someone was pouring a bucket of water through the window in our laundry room - for the ENTIRE DAY.  We had 2-3 inches of water in our family room, bathroom, my studio, and my daughter's room.  We had to cart almost every item out of the basement to our garage and upstairs area so that they wouldn't get destroyed.  All of the carpet in the basement was ruined and had to be torn out, and we also lost several pieces of furniture due to water damage.  As you can imagine, this also completely tied me up for a solid week and has kept me out of my studio.  All of my equipment is in random boxes in my garage, living room, and kitchen, and it is quite a mess!  It definitely hasn't been a fun week at all!

So, what does this mean?  It means that it took me longer than usual to place the orders for the pins, stickers, and magnets and they will be delayed a little more than I expected. They are being manufactured as we speak, and I promise, as soon as they are delivered I will be sending them out!  Thank you for your patience while we sort through this mess!  If you haven't seen it in the national news, a huge portion of Nebraska is underwater.  We are very lucky that we only lost some carpet, as there are many people who have lost entire homes, businesses, livestock, and farmlands.  Please keep the people in NE in your thoughts!

Thanks so much for being amazing as always, and please let me know if you have any questions!
